Carson Mansion - Eureka, CA
One of the most popular and photographed victorian mansions in California was built in the 1800's by Humboldt County lumber baron William Carson. The mansion was owned by the Carson family until the 1950's when it was sold to the Ingomar Club. To this day the house is maintained soley through the membership revenue generated by the club. Many other houses in Eureka have the same victorian flavor.
